If this is your first time using the Bridgit software to connect to a webinar or a meeting, there are a few things to know:

1. You will need to download the software if you haven't used it previously. To do that, use the link below.

2. You will require some basic equipment to participate, including speakers, and a microphone. If you are participating in a webinar or meeting as a large group, you may want to project your screen (e.g. on a Smartboard or regular screen). Web cams are optional.

3. Once you have downloaded the software, you will need to join the meeting. There is a quick tutorial that walks you through the process below.

4. The last step is making sure that your audio works so that you can ask questions to the presenter or participate in the meeting. Information for configuring your audio is shown on the video below.

In order to use Bridgit, you will need a mic and headphones (for individual meetings) or speakers (if broadcasting to an entire class).
Many administrators have a Chat 50 or Chat 150 option that has both mic and speaker.

I apologize that the sound is quiet. I need a new mic! But if you use headphones or ear buds, you should be okay! - Jade
